Whether it’s the frenzy of a rock concert or the intimacy of a portrait session, it’s his ability to create still images that come alive with movement that has made Dustin such a sought-after photographer.
Dustin has worked with many of the world’s top personalities in music and entertainment, from Beastie Boys to Richard Branson.
He recently had the tremendous honour of being the only photographer in the studio with Nirvana while they rehearsed for a one-night-only performance celebrating their induction into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame, and in 2011 he was personally selected by Paul McCartney to photograph him on tour.
He’s worked regularly with Dave Grohl and Foo Fighters since 1995, and dozens of his photos appear in the Grammy Award-winning feature film Foo Fighters Back and Forth. (see them in the All Access Gallery)
Billy Talent, Queens Of The Stone Age and many more of his favourite artists trust him on the road and behind the scenes.
Dustin’s music photography has appeared on the cover of Rolling Stone and in the pages of countless CD and DVD packages, magazines, and books worldwide. Not to mention the private collections of the artists that he photographs.
As a portrait photographer Dustin is known for his good-humoured nature, which makes it easy to be in front of his camera. His style is raw yet elegant, and presents people as themselves.
Having achieved many of his life-long dreams in photography, Dustin is still looking ahead to new challenges. He lives in Toronto and works internationally.
Morrison Hotel Gallery has a collection of Dustin’s work available for sale in their galleries and on their website.
